Deer Valley has been ranked the number one resort in North America by the readers of Ski Magezine for the third year in a row. What's more impressive, is the resort's ranking over the past nine years has not dropped below third in North America. Aside from being named the #1 Resort overall out of 60 North American resorts, Deer Valley ranked winningly in many individual categories. Highlights included the Resort being given #1 rankings for grooming, service, on-mountain food, lodging and dining (Deer Valley has consistently placed highly in these categories since SKI Magazine has been tracking ratings). The Resort also received #2 rankings for access, lifts and family programs.
 What's New!
Known as a leader in quality resort experience, Deer Valley has added to their reach of management the newly formed Deer Valley Resort Lodging and Reservations. This new department will serve as property manager for more than 300 Deer Valley lodging units, will now manages The Lodges at Deer Valley and the Silver Baron Lodge. Visitors to Deer Valley will be treated to the same quality and service that has ranked the resort so high for so many years.
Recent Improvements!
Recently, the resort spent $8 million in improvements, most notable of which is the replacement of Cushing's Cabin at the top of Flagstaff Mountain, adjacent to the Northside Express, Quincy Express, Silver Strike Express and Ruby Express chairlifts. The new cabin will seat 40 to 45 guests, feature updated bathrooms and house Flagstaff Mountain Ski Patrol. The new cabin will offer a similar menu as in years past.
